I used to measure my worth by
How “valuable” my content was.
More tips.
More frameworks.
More “actionable insights.”
I thought that’s how you win on LinkedIn.
I thought that’s how you build trust.
I thought that’s what people cared about.
But then something strange happened…
People weren’t connecting.
They were reading, but not feeling.
Scrolling, but not stopping.
Watching, but not remembering.
And I couldn’t understand why.
Until I did.
I was creating content like a teacher.
When people were craving a human.
The moment I stopped “proving” myself
and started expressing myself
Everything shifted.
My ideas got softer but heavier.
My posts got quieter but deeper.
My audience got smaller but warmer.
My clients found me… not because I taught more,
But because I felt more like me.
The myth I believed?
“Value will make you unforgettable.”
But the truth?
Emotion does.
Honesty does.
Humanity does.
People don’t remember information.
They remember resonance.
And if you’ve been trying to “teach your way” into trust
Maybe it’s time to try feeling your way into it instead.
P.S. What myth did you believe at the start of your journey?
I really want to know. ↓

Trust shifted for me when I stopped optimizing for usefulness and started showing up honestly. Nadia Urooj
