Ever wonder why some LinkedIn posts sound great
But somehow… they don’t connect?
Let’s take an everyday example:
“5 lessons I learned as a founder.”
…and the lessons you’ll read:
1️⃣ Take risks
2️⃣ Be patient
3️⃣ Never give up
4️⃣ Stay consistent
5️⃣ Build relationships
Motivational? Sure.
Memorable? Nope.
It tells you what to do
but never how.
The problem with posts like this:
Advice too broad to act on
Tips you’ve seen a thousand times
Hooks that feel generic or AI-generated
Your audience doesn’t need another quote wall.
They need relevance.
So here’s what to do instead:
Pick one clear topic and go deep.
For example:
“How I write stories that grow my LinkedIn account.”
Then follow this simple flow
1️⃣ Show results they can relate to
2️⃣ End with a clear CTA or takeaway
3️⃣ Share your real-life fix or experience
4️⃣ Explain what happens if they don’t fix it
5️⃣ Describe your audience’s biggest struggle
You can write any post this way.
(Not saying you should.)
But when you do…
Your content moves from
informing → connecting → converting.
Want your content to actually work?
✅ Solve one micro-problem per post
✅ Share your experience, not generic advice
✅ Avoid broad topics that are hard to break down
Your readers will feel seen.
Your content will feel sharper.
And your posts will finally matter.
